Hello Mike,
Thanks for putting these up.
I left Verbier in 1979, having lived in Switzerland from 1966, so strictly speaking these were the ‘70s.

I am the one in the green gilet to the left with my arms in the air and the other is Jane Bishop. That is Jane’s married name and I cannot remember her family name. She used to run ski holidays with Sheena Anderson in chalet Larzy.
I will look out some more photos in time. Marko took quite a few of them. I started as a chamber maid at Chez Philippe in La Tzoumaz in 1970/71 and then worked as a waitress in Isérables, following two seasons as a monitrice de ski at Verbier Ski School, headed up by Ami Giroud. In the Summer I worked at Agence Domus. I then went on to run the Rodeo restaurant with Joyce Anderson who was married to Dale Anderson who ran Ski Service with Jack Kregas. After 3 years, Joyce left and I took on the night club under the restaurant until I left in 1979.
While I was in Verbier I wrote for the English Ski Magazine as Newport Viewpoint.
